Yesterday, I woke up quite early in the morning. Why? My mother wanted to buy fishballs for her nephew, grand niece and grand nephews. In the evening, we would be going to my cousin's house for steamboat.
Around 7, we left for his place. When we reached, my cousin's house was already filled with guests--his mother-in-law, his sister-in-law, her husband and his brother-in-law.
The steamboat also had a grill attached to it so we could also barbecue the ingredients. My cousin's sister-in-law also made some jellies.
Finally, it's the highlight of the evening! We were going to celebrate the twins' 4th birthday. The cake had a design of a blue train. The cream stained the tongue. The children had lots of fun sticking out their tongues, frightening one another!
After everyone had a share of the cake, it was time for the stars--XX and YY to unwrap their presents. Oh my! How adults nowadays go to great lengths to please children. The presents were mostly educational purpose--stationery, a PDA for children to learn the ABC's and a laptop for each of the twins. XX's laptop was really pretty. It was pink. The mouse, cover and screen was all about Barbie doll. YY's one was green. My mother let me feel the laptop when the birthday stars went to have their showers.
It was time to go home. Usually, my cousin would drive us back. However, for a change, this time, my cousin asked my brother to drive instead. His driving was pretty good and we arrived home safe and sound.
