I just came back from my dinner at Good Chance with Ah Ma, 2nd Aunt, my another cousin, mother and brother. This place is famous for its popiahs. The boss was one of the teachers for the Channel 8 show--Qiang Tan II. My brother described the place to me. The walls were covered with photographs of many local Chinese celebrities.
We were supposed to wrap our own popiahs with vegetables, peanuts and sauce. The fillings for the popiahs were a bit cold and the popiah skin was a bit too soft. We also had Hei Zhou and Taiwanese OO Ah Mee Sua. My brother said it tasted differently from the ones he had in Taiwan. The prawn paste chicken wings tasted like those my mother bought from NTUC. Hahaha...
I think the food is really not that nice as claimed by many though.

My brother bought me a Netbook from COMEX 2009 this afternoon!! Being the last day, he got a really good deal for it. It is Asus Eee PC 1005HA, 10.1 inches and the battery can last for 10.5 hours!! Most importantly, it is really light! Korkor, thank you!!
I called my IT whiz friend and told him about my new "toy". He said he would drop by sometime next week to help me install some additional programs, the ones I am always using.
Yay!! I am a very happy person now!!
